White Mesa Shamanic Healing
As an oral tradition, very little is written about White Mesa Shamanic Healing© techniques. However, the White Mesa Mission and Purpose page provides insight. The White Mesa Shamanic Healing group, founded and led by Valorie Lordi, is based in the greater New York City area, and has four group events per year. Philip Waldrop is part of the leadership team. See also the White Mesa Mission and Purpose page.
For general information about shamanism, the website of The Foundation for Shamanic Studies, founded by anthropologist Michael Harner, can be a good resource: shamanism.org
Dr. Mikao Usui (1865-1926) is the founder or discoverer of Reiki. In the years since his passing, a variety of streams or branches of Reiki have developed and grown, so that Reiki is now global. The website of the International Association of Reiki Professionals, iarp.org provides information, including in its “What is Reiki?” tab. The website reiki.nu also has information about Reiki and Dr. Usui. These two resources only begin to tap the now abundant information about Reiki.
